Mechanical Design Engineer (Min 3+ Yrs Exp)

Job Summary:

The person has to maintain and involve in the continuous improvement of the existing products and Involve in the New Product developments to help the organization to innovate continuously on their products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for sheet metal, fabrication parts, and machine components.
• Perform sheet metal design, including bending, forming, welding, and assembly processes.
• Prepare nesting drawings for CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, or punching processes.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on production feasibility and quality feedback.
• Ensure all designs meet engineering standards, manufacturing accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with production, quality, purchase, and fabrication teams for smooth project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and BOM creation.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and feasibility studies.
• Support new product development (NPD) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare, Maintain and constantly update the ISO Documents assigned to the R&D Team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Drafting).
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
• Experience in machine parts design and manufacturing drawings.
• Hands-on experience in nesting software (any nesting tool preferred).
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication standards.
• Good communication skills and project coordination ability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
