Mechanical Design / R&D Executive

For our leading industrial client, we are seeking a Mechanical Design / R&D Executive based in Istanbul, reporting directly to the R&D Manager.

Job Description:

• Analyze processes in collaboration with business units and design & implement suitable automation and packaging solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise packaging operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage production plans and workflows in line with capacity and delivery targets.
• Lead team management, task allocation, and technical development processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, lead innovative R&D projects, and collaborate with universities and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electronics, or Mechatronics).
• Advanced command of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in R&D / design, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in digital transformation or automation projects.
• Proficient in CAD/CAE software (SolidWorks, Catia, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Proven experience in team management and project leadership.
• PDM system knowledge is an asset.
