Due to our continued growth and success, we are on the search for a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team.

In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to and learn from a team of talented engineers and business professionals who are focused on meeting the needs of customers by providing High Quality Products and Services with Integrity, Timeliness, and Diligence, as well as solving a wide variety of engineering challenges in a product development or manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of job functions and will require flexibility and ability to do a diverse amount of tasks both in the office and shop environments.

• Create 3D models and engineering drawings of parts and assemblies
• Create design documentation and product manuals
• Perform reverse engineering
• Document and communicate project information
• Use good problem solving skills even when something isn't clearly defined or known
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales team
• Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and team members

• Shipping and receiving of parts
• Material handling, forklift and truck/trailer operation
• Assisting with product installs at customer job sites
• Assembly and light fabrication
• Assistance with part deliveries and customer field visits

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years’ experience in mechanical design
• Ability to Research and develop new product ideas and innovations
• In depth knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or similar)
• Able to effectively work in a team and with diverse customers to meet their project needs
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Good knowledge of metal fabrication processes
• Ability to construct prototypes and fabricate new and existing products a plus
• Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
• Ability to work independently/self-directed and as a member of a team
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and initiative
• Mechanical, Construction, or Farm industry experience/background
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
