Mechanical Designer

ATG, LLC - is looking for a full time Mechanical Designer.

Successful applicant will be proficient with Solidworks. Applicant will be responsible for concept design, project reviews, design detailing for fabrication, assembly assistance, system debug as required.

Core skills:

• Proficient in 3D CAD software including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor for detailed part and assembly design
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering drawings
• Experience creating and revising technical drawings, layouts, and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and injection molding
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and design validation
• Familiar with product development lifecycle from concept through prototyping and production
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Effective collaboration with engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, ISO)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
