Mechanical Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, plans, and documentation to support construction and installation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop mechanical drawings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to produce accurate and compliant mechanical plans.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings align with project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings as necessary to reflect design changes or field modifications.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, schedules, and material take-offs.
• Ensure all mechanical drawings comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Support site teams by providing clear and precise drawings for installation and construction activities.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in building construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems in buildings.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
