Job Description

Firas Engineering Consultancy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman with minimum 3 years of UAE experience to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical drawings and supporting the design team in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings, design drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Draft HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority standards (ADM, ADDC, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Revise drawings based on engineer comments and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Assist engineers during design development and submission stages.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as Mechanical Draftsman.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Revit MEP experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and standards.
• Experience in engineering consultancy firms is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Experience in residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows is an advantage.
