Mechanical Draftsman

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Mechanical Draftsman in Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for HVAC systems, including ducting layouts, sections, and schematics.
• Develop drawings for internal and external drainage networks, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Produce coordination drawings in collaboration with other MEP disciplines.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
• Ensure all drawings meet project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure accuracy and practicality of designs.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, preferably in MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and drainage (internal and external).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on large-scale projects with major MEP or main contractors.
