Universal BIM is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Draftsman to join our growing team in the UAE.

Mechanical Draftsman

Experience Required

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Immediate joiners currently available in the UAE will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Develop accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, BIM Modelers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free drawings.
• Prepare sections, elevations, layouts, and fabrication drawings as required.
• Revise drawings based on client comments, design changes, and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and project standards.
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver accurate drawings within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
