Job Title: MEP Draughtsman – Water Treatment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman with experience in the Water Treatment industry to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings and layouts for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on engineering inputs.

· Develop coordinated MEP layouts for water treatment plants, including piping, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Interpret and incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups from engineers.

· Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes.

· Coordinate with civil, structural, and process teams to ensure clash-free designs.

· Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.

· Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.

· Support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates as needed.

Qualifications:

· Graduation in Mechanical/Electrical or Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.

· Above 5 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman, preferably in the water treatment or infrastructure sector.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus.

· Strong understanding of pumping stations and MEP systems in water and wastewater treatment facilities.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA, IEC).

· Experience with 3D modeling and clash detection.

· Knowledge of P&IDs and process flow diagrams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
