Key Responsibilities
- Design, manufacture, and install mechanical components in line with plant and production requirements.
- Identify engineering problems or deficiencies and develop effective mechanical solutions.
- Conduct mechanical experiments and performance evaluations to support product and process innovation.
- Create accurate technical drawings and designs using CAD software and other relevant tools.
- Estimate time and budget requirements for various mechanical engineering projects.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for machinery and equipment operation.
- Ensure all mechanical products and systems comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis of utilities such as boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, etc.
- Implement and support mechanical improvements to increase plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in procurement and evaluation of mechanical components or services for plant operations.
- Participate in internal audits and provide technical support for equipment inspection and documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and installation work as needed.
- Ensure safety compliance during installation, modification, or repair work within the plant.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the senior engineering or maintenance heads.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering within a chemical or process manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with utilities (e.g., boilers, compressors, cooling towers)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools, simulation software, and engineering design principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to conduct simulations, analyse test data, and optimize equipment design
- Competency in technical documentation and machine operation manuals
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
