Mechanical Engineer

Looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong background in MEP contracting. The candidate should have 7-8 Years of Dubai Experience managing mechanical systems. (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting – Estimate, Engineering and site execution)

1. Preparation of Tender documents – Estimate, BOQ etc

2. Submission of material submittals, Designing & shop drawings, and obtaining approval from consultant

3. Materials quantity take off and ensure that materials / equipment are

timely ordered and received at site

4. Calculations - Heat load Calculation, Duct sizing, Pipe sizing, CFM, ESP, Pressure drop calculation, Pump head calculations etc

5. knowledge of equipment selections and placement

6. Site Execution of HVAC, Plumbing Firefighting as per approved shop drawings

7. Raising work inspections, RFI etc

8. Preparing monthly running bills of the project

9. Submission of Variations for cost and time impact

10. Participate in weekly meetings with consultants / client for work review and progress

11. Testing & Commissioning and Final Handing over

12. Familiar with Authority regulations, Plumbing regulations

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
