Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing mechanical systems in various projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design drawings.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection.
• Supervise installation and commissioning activities on-site.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure design integration.
• Troubleshoot issues during construction and provide technical support.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in electrical design and site execution in GCC or preferably in Qatar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other mechanical design software.
• Strong understanding of international and local mechanical codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must have valid UPDA Certificate
