Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our facilities team for a large shopping mall in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, facility management, and construction, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the mall.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee, maintain, and improve all mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services.
• Develop and review mechanical designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and facility management teams.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection summaries, and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely resolution of mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, construction, or facility management (preferably within malls or large commercial buildings).
• Valid Qatar Driving License (UPDA certification is an advantage).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Salary: QAR 5,000 – 7,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
