Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and preventive/corrective maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water systems, plumbing, water supply, firefighting systems, etc
• Conduct performance audits, root-cause analysis, and technical evaluations of mechanical equipment.
• Track KPIs related to asset condition, maintenance response times, and service quality.
• Prepare and update preventive maintenance schedules (PPM) in coordination with FM planners.
• Manage and supervise technicians and subcontractors performing mechanical-related tasks
• Ensure all mechanical operations comply with civil defence requirements, and municipal regulations
• Implement health and safety practices aligned with company and governmental guidelines
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and inspection reports
• Prepare weekly and monthly FM performance reports

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional license or certification preferred (UPDA, PMP etc)
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design, construction, or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, pumps, compressors, etc
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
