Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MEP mechanical systems, design review, site execution, and coordination with contractors and consultants. You will be responsible for mechanical installation, technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
• Conduct site inspections for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems
• Prepare material submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
• Monitor installation work to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Support project planning, cost estimation, and technical evaluations
• Review and interpret mechanical plans, BOQ, and project documentation
• Prepare project reports and attend coordination meetings
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over of mechanical systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical / MEP projects (construction preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage
• Familiar with Dubai / UAE mechanical codes and standards (preferred)
• Good communication and site coordination skills
