Mechanical Engineer

Title: Mechanical Site Engineer – HVAC & Plumbing

Experience: 5 to 7 years (With Gulf Experience)

* Supervise and execute HVAC & Plumbing works as per approved drawings and method statements.

* Coordinate daily with civil, electrical, firefighting, LPG and finishing teams for site progress.

Analyze the site condition during execution and implement cost control wherever necessary without compromising the technical standards.

* Attend coordination and technical meetings with main contractor, consultant, and subcontractors.

* Liaise with consultant for inspections, approvals, and site queries.

* Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight delays and progress.

* Raise Inspection Requests (IR), RFIs, and MVR’s as required.

* Review and monitor shop drawings, as-built, drawings.

* Prepare material take-off (MTO) and assist procurement team for ordering.

* Track material deliveries, storage, and issuance at site.

* Manage technicians, subcontractors, and manpower allocation at site.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

5–7 years of site-based experience in HVAC & Plumbing systems.

Must have experience in MEP building projects (Residential/Commercial/Industrial).

Knowledge of local authority standards (e.g., DM, DCD, DEWA, etc.) is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

AutoCAD for site mark-ups and coordination.

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

Understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, and firefighting standards (preferred).
