Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with proven UAE experience in the equipment rental industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, managing technical teams, and supporting fleet performance across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rental equipment and heavy machinery
• Ensure maximum fleet availability and operational efficiency
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement plans
• Manage workshop operations and field service teams
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, and procurement departments
• Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation
• Conduct technical inspections before equipment dispatch and upon return
• Equipment Experience Required
• Experience working with one or more of the following equipment categories: Generators, Air Compressors, Tower Lights, Heavy Construction Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Portacabins and Diesel Engines and Hydraulic Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-5 UAE experience in the UAE equipment rental industry (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Valid UAE driving license preferred
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site
