Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support Facilities Management operations across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and life‑safety systems. The role includes supervising maintenance activities, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, managing MEP assets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Facilities Management Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for:
- HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, compressors, sensors)
- Mechanical systems (pumps, motors, pressurization systems)
- Electrical interfaces (LV panels, MCCs, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs)
- Plumbing & drainage systems
- BMS, Fire Alarm, and Fire Fighting systems
- Related civil FM works
- Ensure all MEP systems operate reliably with minimum downtime.
Maintenance & Technical Support
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and junior FM staff.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, coordinate immediate corrective actions, and provide on‑call support when required.
- Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers for technical support and rapid issue resolution.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate installation, repair, commissioning, shutdowns, and asset upgrades with vendors, contractors, and FM teams.
- Support planning, budgeting, and execution of mechanical upgrades, retrofits, and energy‑efficiency projects.
- Collaborate with project and FM teams to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and FM contract requirements.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, asset history, and KPI/SLA compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and environmental standards.
- Prepare periodic progress, maintenance, and technical reports for management.
- Maintain organized documentation of all MEP drafts, revisions, and drawings.
AutoCAD / MEP Drafting
- Prepare and update detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
- Revise layouts and prepare as‑built updates based on engineer feedback and site conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8+ years experience in MEP/FM maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, pumps, plumbing, FA/FF, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of FM operations, SLAs, KPIs, and maintenance workflows.
