Hopes Safety Consultancy LLC is currently looking for a qualified Mechanical Inspection Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, UAE.

Job Role

The selected candidate will carry out inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories, prepare inspection reports, and support inspection activities in line with company procedures and relevant standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, completed at least 3 years ago.
Minimum 1 year of relevant inspection experience.
Good knowledge of inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
Knowledge of inspection procedures, reporting, and identification of defects.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
ASNT NDT Level 2 or NDT Level 3 certification.
Ability to prepare clear inspection reports and technical findings.
Good understanding of safety requirements related to inspection activities.
Ability to work independently and on site.
Good communication and reporting skills.

Knowledge of relevant lifting inspection standards.
Experience in third party inspection work.
UAE experience will be an advantage.
UAE driving licence will be an advantage.
