Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III (Prototype & Design)

📍 Location: Onsite (5 days/week)

📅 Duration: 12 Months (Extension/Conversion Possible)

🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on rapid prototyping and innovative product development . In this role, you will work closely with engineers and technicians to design, build, and iterate mechanical concepts for next-generation systems.

This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning ideas into functional prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components using 3D CAD (MCAD) tools
• Create detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation
• Build and test rapid prototypes for mechanical assemblies, especially for electronics integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate designs quickly
• Support tooling development for both prototype and production stages
• Maintain design data using PLM systems
• Participate in Agile workflows and project tracking

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in mechanical design and prototyping
• Strong experience with MCAD software (3D modeling & 2D drafting)
• Hands-on experience in mechanical prototyping and assembly , especially with electronics
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools and production tooling
• Associate degree required (bachelor’s preferred)
