Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment crucial to our construction projects. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide solutions for mechanical issues that arise during construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including design reports and technical specifications.
• Utilize CAD software for the design and modeling of mechanical components and systems.
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical systems relevant to construction.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with construction project management software is a plus.
