Junior Civil Engineer

Job Purpose:

Support the execution and monitoring of civil works on-site by assisting in technical coordination, inspections, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered according to specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Main job duties and responsibilities:

1. Assist in supervising day-to-day site civil activities.
2. Review drawings and ensure site execution matches approved designs.
3. Support in monitoring contractor work and progress on site.
4. Conduct site inspections and report any deviations or issues.
5. Assist in preparing daily and weekly progress reports.
6. Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
7. Follow up on material deliveries and ensure compliance with specifications.
8. Assist in reviewing shop drawings and technical submittals.
9. Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures on site.
10. Support in resolving minor technical issues under supervision.
11. Maintain proper documentation and records of site activities.
12. Participate in site meetings and provide updates when required
13. Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.

Educational background and previous experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
2. 0–2 years of relevant experience.
