
QS & Interim Payments Engineer
Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and administer construction contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.

Interpret contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Deal with variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence.

Prepare, review, and certify interim payment applications for contractors and subcontractors.

Measure and value completed works in accordance with contract provisions and BOQs.

Verify quantities, rates, and supporting documents for payment claims.

Coordinate with site, planning, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payments.

Monitor contract financial status, cash flow, and payment schedules.

Track variations and their financial impact on the project budget.

Assist in forecasting final accounts and cost reports.

Ensure all payments and contract actions comply with company policies, contract terms, and applicable regulations.

Maintain organized records of contracts, payment certificates, variations, and approvals.

Support audits and management reviews related to contracts and payments.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 3years of experience in contract administration and interim payments and QS in construction projects.

Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC or similar).

Experience in measurement, BOQs, valuations, and payment certification.
