Mechanical Engineer

• Design, plan, and supervise mechanical systems, equipment, and installations.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Manage mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, and machinery as applicable.
• Review project requirements, BOQ, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other engineering departments.
• Supervise site installation activities and ensure work is executed as per drawings and standards.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship for quality compliance.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure project schedules are achieved and report progress to management.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Control material usage and reduce wastage.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE, and company policies.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance checks of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and recommend suitable materials/equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and technical documents.
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement activities.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and system improvement.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams when required.
• Ensure all works comply with local authority and statutory requirements.
• Train technicians and junior staff when necessary.
• Handle emergency breakdowns and urgent technical issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
