Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering works, preferably with hands-on experience in Dubai Airport projects or other aviation-related infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing mechanical works while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all mechanical engineering activities at the project site.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Prepare method statements, technical submittals, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, airport requirements, and company policies.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and material selections.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and safe work practices on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering works.
• Experience in Dubai Airport projects or aviation facilities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical Systems.
• Familiarity with UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an added advantage.

• Experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Knowledge of airport operational requirements and safety standards.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
