Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of MEP systems within facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient performance, reliability, and compliance of all mechanical and electrical systems while supporting daily facilities management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the operation and maintenance of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections and audits of facilities and MEP systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, and performance records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support budgeting, planning, and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Valid UPDA Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Operations & Maintenance of MEP systems and Facilities Management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Experience in healthcare facilities maintenance will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
