Job Description:

You will be a key contributor in our optical gauging operations along with supporting the balance of the organization. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong fundamental engineering education and is willing to learn and participate in a wide range of engineering activities.

Jr. Manufacturing Engineer:

This job includes the core responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert for our optical gauging division;
  • Redrafting and verifying out-dated manufacturing prints to modify manufacturing operations;
  • Participate in the assembly process of optical gauging assemblies;
  • Participate in the development of product assembly instructions for production;
  • Drafting support for engineering design operations;
  • Participate as necessary in supplier management and communications;
  • Participate in the engineering department meetings so as to learn department protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in technical drafting.
  • Working knowledge of quality control processes and capable of using metrology equipment such as calipers, gauge blocks, ring gauges, etc..
  • Ability and willingness to help build optical gauging systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong desire to be part of a successful and collaborative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
