ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of mechanical equipment across high-speed beverage production and packaging lines, with a primary focus on Krones and Sidel equipment. The role supports production by minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance & Reliability:

Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems on Krones and Sidel production and packaging lines.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability.
- Diagnose mechanical failures using root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Production Support:

Provide immediate technical support during production breakdowns.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production interruptions.
- Ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards.
- Participate in startup, shutdown, and commissioning of production equipment.
Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and TPM methodologies.
- Participate in equipment modifications, upgrades, and process optimization projects.
- Recommend improvements to reduce maintenance costs and increase equipment lifespan.
Equipment Management

Maintain mechanical documentation, maintenance records, and spare parts requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs for technical support and major repairs.
- Ensure critical spare parts are identified and available.
- Assist in planning annual maintenance shutdowns and overhaul activities.
Health, Safety & Quality

Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
- Support food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality management requirements.
- Promote a safe working environment and participate in safety audits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Production, Electrical, Automation, and Quality teams.
- Support operator training on basic mechanical maintenance and autonomous maintenance activities.
- Participate in daily production and maintenance meetings.
ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in beverage, FMCG, food, or packaging manufacturing.
- Experience working with Krones filling, labeling, conveying, and packaging equipment.
- Experience working with Sidel blow molding, filling, and packaging systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or similar).
- Understanding of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical power transmission systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience with beverage filling and packaging operations.
- Knowledge of PET bottle manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and GMP requirements.
- Experience participating in equipment installation and commissioning projects.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
