Mechanical Engineer / AutoCAD Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer / AutoCAD Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and reviewing technical drawings and mechanical designs using AutoCAD (and other CAD software), contributing to product development, and ensuring designs meet all necessary specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using AutoCAD and other CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and quality to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet updated requirements or resolve design-related issues.
• Conduct stress analysis, thermal calculations, and other engineering simulations as required.
• Maintain documentation of designs, calculations, and revisions for reference and compliance.
• Support prototype development and testing phases.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of other CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience or Fresher in a mechanical design or drafting role.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (optional).
• Experience with ERP or PLM systems.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and simulation tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
