Mechanical Engineer / Elevators

Job Description

Talha Elevators is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in the elevator and vertical transportation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, installation support, and technical coordination for elevator systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and analyze mechanical components of elevator systems
• Supervise installation of elevators, escalators, and related equipment
• Coordinate with production, assembly, and site teams
• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with EN 81 standards and safety regulations
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during installation and commissioning
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for mechanical components
• Support quality control and testing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in elevators or vertical transportation industry (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of elevator components (car cabin, doors, guide rails, machines, etc.)
• Knowledge of EN 81 / international elevator standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
