Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer with 5 years to 6 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing system design, installation, and project coordination for residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects. Experienced in cooling load calculation, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection, shop drawing review, and site supervision. Proficient in industry software tools for HVAC design, drafting, and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC Systems

· Supervise installation of HVAC systems including chillers, AHU, FAHU, FCU,

ducting, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems.

· Review and interpret HVAC shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical

specifications.

· Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure proper system

installation.

· Monitor duct installation, insulation, airflow balancing, and equipment alignment.

· Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure performance meets

design requirements.

· Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards, project specifications, and local authority regulations.

Plumbing & Drainage Systems

· Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewage systems.

· Review and coordinate plumbing layouts, isometric drawings, and pipe routing.

· Ensure proper installation of pumps, water tanks, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.

· Monitor installation of HDPE, PPR, GI, and UPVC piping systems.

· Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and system commissioning.

Drafting & Design Coordination

· Prepare and review MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD.

· Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural services to avoid clashes.

· Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority standards, and design requirements.

Planning & Project Management

· Monitor project progress and prepare schedules using Primavera P6.

· Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

· Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and technical submittals.

Software Knowledge

· AutoCAD – HVAC & Plumbing shop drawings and layouts

· HAP (Carrier) – Cooling load calculation and HVAC system design

· Pipe Sizer – Pipe sizing for chilled water and plumbing systems

· Duct Sizer – Duct design and airflow calculation

· MS Office – Documentation and reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
