Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who thrives on problem-solving, innovation, and hands-on involvement from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will enjoy designing specialized equipment, collaborating closely with customers, and overseeing the fabrication and assembly of custom solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to engineer overhead handling systems based on customer specifications.
• Work directly with customers to develop design concepts, troubleshoot issues, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Prepare detailed concept, approval, and fabrication drawings efficiently and accurately.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to develop innovative lifting and handling equipment.
• Ensure quality and performance through testing of completed systems, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation meet design intent.
• Maintain manufacturing control documentation, including detailed bills of materials.
• Support shop personnel during manufacturing and assembly to resolve design or production challenges.
• Contribute to team success by assisting with related engineering or project tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Filling multiple positions with and without experience requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing; background in material handling or heavy equipment a plus
• Electrical engineering knowledge a plus.
• Hands-on aptitude with complex mechanical systems and prototype development.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SolidWorks a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
