Mechanical Engineer (Industrial projects/Aluminium)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 4 to 5 years experience in Heavy industrial projects (preferably in UAE). Experience in EGA or similar plants (aluminium, oil & gas, power plants) is highly preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong coordination with EGA maintenance teams to understand requirements and secure new work opportunities
• Identify and follow up on shutdown, repair, and maintenance jobs within EGA plants
• Plan and supervise execution of mechanical works (maintenance, repair, shutdown activities)
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and project specifications
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment for smooth and timely execution
• Prepare and review method statements and technical submissions
• Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed within planned timelines
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports
• Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, and other departments to ensure quality and compliance
• Track productivity and support efficient resource utilization

1. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university

2. Professional Certifications: Any relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance or industrial safety is an advantage

3. Years of Experience: 4-5 years.

4. Industry/Domain Experience: Heavy industrial projects (preferably in UAE)
Experience in EGA or similar plants (aluminum, oil & gas, power plants) is highly preferred

5. Technical Skills Required:  Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and shutdown activities

Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems and equipment

Ability to plan and execute shutdown works

Knowledge of method statements and technical submissions

Familiar with EGA standards and permit systems

Reputable contracting or industrial service companies in UAE
Experience working with EGA or similar major industrial clients is highly preferred

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
