The Role
As an
Mechanical Engineer Level I
with Worley,
you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Perform HVAC detail engineering for industrial facilities in the Oil & Gas or similar sectors.

Carry out thermal load calculations, HVAC sizing, and heat gain studies using tools like HAP / Elite CHVAC / TRACE.

Design of Chilled Water Systems, DX-type units, and PAC units for electrical and control rooms.

Performing engineering calculations of Pressurization and Ventilation Systems for technical buildings and substations.

Preparation of HVAC Specifications, Basis of Design (BOD), Data Sheets, Equipment lists and Basic layout drawings.

Use AutoCAD and E3D to support drawing preparation, modifications, and HVAC model activities.

Assist in reviewing HVAC drawings, layouts, duct routing, schematics, and perform basic coordination checks.

Participate in 3D model reviews (SP3D / PDMS / E3D) for clash checking with guidance from seniors.

Prepare BOQ and support the creation of material requisitions.

Coordinate internally with Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural teams for interface requirements.

Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, API, ISO, NFPA and project-specific requirements.

Support compliance with HSE, fire protection, smoke extraction, and hazardous area considerations.
