About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dynamos, engines, and both mechanical and electrical pumps. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring high reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of dynamos, engines, and various types of pumps (mechanical and electrical).
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in rotating equipment and propose effective solutions.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical and technical teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all maintenance activities.
- Recommend improvements for operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience in maintenance of dynamos, engines, and pumps.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with electrical pumps, wiring, and control systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns promptly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial or facility maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Certification in maintenance, safety, or related fields (a plus).
