Mechanical Engineer MEP

• Review the project specification, Tender/IFC drawings of various mechanical systems like HVAC, Water supply, drainage, Fire Protection and LPG.

• Conduct the detailed mechanical calculations like (ESP Calculation, Pump head Calculation) to determine system requirements and ensure optimal performance.

• Able to do the equipment selection based on the specification, load calculations and other mechanical calculations.

• Follow relevant building codes, energy standards and safety regulations in all installations.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements prior to consultant submission for approval.

• Contribute to project budgets and schedules, managing resources and project timelines.

• Oversee on-site installation, conduct quality control inspections, and manage system testing and commissioning. Document every inspection as WIR/MIR and get it approved by the Engineer.

• Identify and resolve issues with existing HVAC and plumbing systems to improve efficiency and functionality.

• Work with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.

• Complete all project close-out activities prior to handing over the project to the client.
