Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems in MEP projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical works at project sites.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ventilation system installations.
• Ensure mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and prepare technical and progress reports.
• Coordinate testing, balancing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Assist in material planning, procurement, and cost control.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in MEP contracting or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Ventilation Systems.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and international standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• UAE driving license is preferred.

Work Location: In person
