Mechanical engineer - Oil & Gas

• Execute and supervise mechanical activities related to Oil & Gas projects, including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, and structural supports.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality requirements.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO), technical queries, and site reports.
• Ensure all activities are carried out according to project specifications, international standards, and company procedures.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe work practices on site.
• Manage subcontractors, manpower allocation, and daily site activities.
• Participate in meetings with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Good knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, planning, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in engineering software and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Experience:

• Oil and gas: 5 years (Required)
