Mechanical Engineer (Package Design)

WINTER Refrigeration is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer (Package Design) to join our engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support the design, drafting, and documentation of mechanical skid packages and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical skid packages using AutoCAD (2D/3D) and SolidWorks to prepare detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Perform calculations for dimensions, weight limitations, and material requirements.
• Draft and review engineering documents such as P&IDs, PFDs, and fabrication/shop drawings.
• Review and understand project specifications to ensure design compliance.
• Generate and compile Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project.
• Coordinate with the production department to provide accurate drawings as per project schedules.
• Prepare as-built drawings for completed projects.
• Perform other design-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design and AutoCAD drafting.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD (2D/3D) and SolidWorks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
• Experience or knowledge in drafting for Refrigeration, HVAC, or MEP systems is an added advantage.
