Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment

We are urgently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment for project in Qatar.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial Projects

· Previous experience in Qatar Energy / QP projects is mandatory

· Strong experience in Rotating Equipment engineering and detailed design

· Familiar with Qatar Energy standards, specifications, PTW and HSE requirements

· Experience in hazardous area installations and Explosion-Proof equipment Knowledge of:

o ATEX / IECEx certified equipment

o Zone 0 / Zone 1 / Zone 2 hazardous areas

o Class I Div. 1 & Div. 2 installations

· Experience in:

o Selection and installation of Ex-proof equipment

o Supervision, testing and commissioning

o Loss prevention and safety coordination

o Candidates with ETAP coordination experience will be preferred

o Valid supporting documents/training certificates related to hazardous area works

preferred

· Additional Preference:

o Previous involvement in QatarEnergy / Ras Laffan / Mesaieed Industrial City projects

o Experience coordinating with consultant and client for detailed engineering approvals
