Mechanical Engineer (Supervision)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a project in Delma Island, Abu Dhabi Western Region. The role requires the engineer to be stationed on-site for the duration of the project. The candidate will supervise HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Sewage Treatment, and Fire Detection & Protection systems, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor submissions for site execution.
• Review and comment on value engineering proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and design departments; attend site meetings.
• Compile and review contractor documents for authority submissions and project close-out.
• Review and approve variation claims, cost savings, and periodical payment certificates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in MEP supervision.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC, water supply & drainage, fire protection, and specialized mechanical systems (e.g., LPG, swimming pools, water treatment plants).
• Knowledge of specialized inspections (e.g., radiography, water quality tests) and local/international codes.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Note:
This is an on-site position in Delma Island, Abu Dhabi Western Region. Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
