Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer (Testing & Commissioning) for a contract role based in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical systems testing and commissioning, particularly in building services, infrastructure, or large-scale projects. This position is critical to ensuring that all mechanical systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical systems testing and commissioning activities.
• Conduct inspections and functional performance testing of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards.
• Identify and resolve issues found during the commissioning process.
• Collaborate closely with design, construction, and quality teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing and commissioning reports and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input as required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of commissioning schedules and plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in using testing instruments and reporting tools.
• Must have a valid Freelancer Visa (Qatar).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate availability preferred.
