Mechanical Fitter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in using hand tools and mechanical knowledge. Basic welding skills to carry out small breakdown repairs, fabricate and assemble metal components when required.

Duties
- Work on-site to customers requirements.

- Inspect, repair and overhaul pumps, motors and gearboxes.

- Utilise hand tools and power tools to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal parts
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to install Machinery.

- Welding, sheet metal work and pipe work
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions

Experience
- Previous experience in mechanical fitting workshop and site based.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work with sheet metal and pipework.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,840.00 per year
