Mechanical Foreman

Mechanical Foreman to oversee and manage mechanical works for our high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the construction industry, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to lead a team to deliver quality results within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, drawings, and local regulations.
• Supervise and guide a team of technicians and subcontractors.
• Allocate tasks and monitor daily progress to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with quality control teams to address any non-conformities.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other trades.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on mechanical works progress.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and team performance.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for submission to the project manager.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all mechanical activities adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mechanical supervision, preferably on high-rise building projects.
• Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards is preferred.
