Effectively manage the Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program
Essential Functions-
Reports To: (position) Reliability Manager

Consistently demonstrate full understanding of and compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc., and adhere to all Monument HSE rules, policies, practices, and procedures at all times.

Participate in implementation of HSE policies and programs for the plant.

Oversee and manage the Plant Mechanical Integrity (MI) program for vessels, piping, and tanks including execution of the inspections and repairs, maintaining required records per OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), and ensuring corrective actions required by inspections are completed.

Perform inspections as needed and oversee inspections performed by contractors based on industry best practices and per API, NBBIC, ASME, and OSHA guidelines for all required vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems.

Review and manage the list of plant wide inspections to ensure on-time completion. Champion the completion of MI inspections and distribute reports as needed and in a timely manner.

Act as a consultant for all Code and non-Code repairs of fixed equipment to ensure adherence to all requirements. Lead repair projects being performed by maintenance and contract personnel as needed.

Develop and modify engineering and maintenance procedures as necessary to ensure compliance with Codes and Standards.

Develop and manage capital projects as needed.

Education Qualifications-
Required High School or Equivalent
Experience Qualifications-
Required 5+ years related experience.
Skills and Abilities-
Postsecondary education preferred.
- Must be familiar with ASME Section I, II, VIII, IX, XI, B31.1, B31.3, and other related vessel and piping Codes.
- Must be familiar with NBBIC vessel repair and ASME IX welding requirements to allow management of welding and repair programs.
- Must be familiar with API-510, 570, and 653 inspection and repair Standards and associated requirements.
- Must have a demonstrated knowledge of corrosion damage mechanisms and a basic knowledge of materials.
- Good organizational, verbal and written interpersonal communication, critical-thinking/problem-solving, math, and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Demonstrated ability to master equipment-specific knowledge.
- Appropriately interact with and manage contractors.
- SAP experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications-
Level II NDE Certifications (VT, PT, MT, UT, etc.). Other NDE processes and CWI a plus. Upon Hire Preferred and

Working Conditions/Physical Demands-
Must be able to move throughout the plant with testing equipment, including climbing stairs and ladders, make vessel entries with required personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform duties
