What You Will be Doing:As a Mechanical Intern at Interface, you will gain exposure to industry leaders in an environment of true collaboration. You will be encouraged to give structure to your own ideas and actively take part in design/project discussion. Through the internship period you will be exposed to real world working scenarios by contributing the following tasks:
- Preliminary mechanical design and layout
- Document delivery coordination
- Preliminary load calculations
- Researching commercially available equipment
- Product Research and Selection Assistance
- Preliminary Energy Modeling
To Qualify for Application:
The successful Electrical Intern candidate should have:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven interest in sustainable design
- Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas
- Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of building codes.
- Ability to work effectively within a team orientated collaborative environment.
To Be Competitive for this Role:
Preferred qualifications include:
- Membership in technical society
- Desire to learn and grow
- Prior exposure to Revit MEP and AutoCAD
