The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of mechanical systems and equipment. This includes conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
Our Team
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be part of the Maintenance and Engineering team, a cross-functional group responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all mechanical systems and equipment. The team includes technicians, electrical engineers, and planners, working collaboratively to minimize downtime, support production goals, and uphold safety standards.
What You Will Do

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in equipment and machinery.

Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Source and manage spare parts and equipment inventory.

Train and mentor junior maintenance staff.

Participate in planning upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

1-3 years of experience in a glass manufacturing plant or similar heavy process industry (cement, steel, ceramic, etc.).

Proven track record of working in maintenance, reliability, or projects.

Very Good Command of English.

Proficient in AutoCAD

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Initiative and continuous improvement mindset.

Good project management and reporting skills.
