Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

This role is responsible for ensuring that CNC (Computer Numerical Control), VMC (Vertical Machining Center), and SPM (Special Purpose Machines) operate efficiently by performing preventive and breakdown maintenance. The person ensures minimal machine downtime, maintains production quality, and adheres to industry standards like IATF and ISO.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance

• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected machine failures.
• Perform breakdown maintenance to quickly restore machines to operational condition when faults occur.
• Diagnose technical problems in CNC, VMC, and SPM machines and implement corrective actions.

Production Support

• Ensure that machines are running smoothly to meet production targets.
• Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency

Technical Knowledge & Computer Skills

• Use basic computer skills for logging maintenance data, generating reports, and reviewing machine manuals.
• Understand machine programs and basic troubleshooting for CNC/VMC.

Safety & Improvement

• Ensure safe working practices while handling machines.
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance machine life and performance.

Core Competencies

• Hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, and SPM maintenance.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance expertise.
• Knowledge of IATF/ISO systems for maintaining quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
