We are looking for a
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
who will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safe operation of all mechanical equipment across our facility through effective maintenance planning, technical coordination, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute maintenance, repair, and inspection activities for pumps, compressors, gearboxes, ball mills, conveyors, crushers, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment.

Perform Preventive (PM), Predictive (PdM), and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities; carry out root cause analyses (RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone) to eliminate repetitive failures.

Monitor equipment performance using vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, and other diagnostic tools.

Review and interpret technical drawings such as P&IDs, hydraulic schemes, isometric drawings, and GA drawings to determine appropriate maintenance methods.

Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors; supervise on-site contractor work and ensure quality compliance.

Participate in installation, commissioning, and improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with OHS regulations and contribute to risk assessments.

Track and analyze maintenance KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR; identify failure trends and implement improvement actions.

Maintain and verify compliance of pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems with applicable API, ASME, ISO, and EN standards during maintenance and inspection activities.

Support procurement processes by preparing technical specifications and participating in test & commissioning activities.
Required Knowledge & Skills
-
Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within production/process industries (mining, energy, petrochemical, cement, etc.).

Proficiency in SAP PM or similar CMMS systems.
-
Ability to work actively in the field and adapt to shift schedules when required.

Practical experience with mechanical assembly, alignment, measurement techniques, hydraulic systems, and part-fitting applications.

Hands-on experience with pumps, crushers, conveyors, apron feeders, sizers, autoclaves, cyclones, and screens.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation accurately.
Education & Certificates
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

Energy Manager Certificate (preferably)

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

English proficiency is required.

Experience with CMMS systems—preferably the SAP PM module—is an advantage.
