Job Purpose: Person should have experience in Bipolar Hydrogen Generation plant

To ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all mechanical systems and equipment in the Bipolar Hydrogen Generation Plant through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules for rotating and static equipment.
  • Attend to mechanical breakdowns in pumps, rectifiers ,compressors, blowers, valves, and pipelines to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain proper maintenance records, history cards, and equipment logbooks.

2. Equipment Management

  • Carry out overhauling and servicing of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, fans, and cooling systems.
  • Inspect and maintain heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and gas manifolds.
  • Conduct periodic alignment, vibration, and bearing condition monitoring.

3. Hydrogen Plant Equipment

  • Maintain electrolyzer cooling water systems, gas purification units, dryers, and pressure control systems.
  • Ensure mechanical integrity of hydrogen storage and distribution systems including pipelines, valves, and fittings.
  • Support in the safe maintenance of high-pressure hydrogen and oxygen circuits.

4. Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all hydrogen safety norms and permit-to-work (PTW) procedures.
  • Participate in HIRA, JSA, and safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

5. Coordination and Documentation

  • Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Operations teams for integrated maintenance activities.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, spares planning, and work order close-out in CMMS/SAP.
  • Support in vendor inspections, AMC management, and spares inventory control.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Contribute to TPM, Kaizen, and reliability improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of experience

or

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3–8 years of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹48,393.00 per month
